Alice is an ex-corporate lawyer turned entrepreneur. She has more than 2 decades of experience practicing law both in-house and in private practice across disciplines and across multiple jurisdictions (Los Angeles, Tokyo, Shanghai, and now Singapore) with major international firms, including Skadden Arps and DLA Piper. Alice is actively engaged in the startup communities in Singapore and beyond, regularly speaking, presenting and mentoring in the areas of Fintech, blockchain and entrepreneurship. Among other awards and achievements, Alice was awarded Top 10 Fintech Leader at the 2022 Singapore Fintech Festival. Pioneering a new industry requires her to constantly engage with regulators, policymakers and multilateral agencies across markets. Alice served as the Director of Special Projects at ACCESS and is currently the Chair of the Singapore Fintech Association Digital Financing Subcommittee. Aside from being a regular guest lecturer for Singapore Management University’s Graduate Certificate in Digital Assets and Blockchain, she also teaches an IBF accredited course in Blockchain and Digital Securities. Alice actively promotes women through her involvement with 100 Women in Finance, and is also a mentor for Tezos APAC EGG Web3 Incubator to play her part in empowering the next-gen of Web3 founders.
