Andrew is passionate about building ecosystems to help people help others. Before joining Wantedly, Andrew co-founded a Social Enterprise, The Shiok Collective, served as Head of Southeast Asia at BeMyGuest, and was Investment Director at One Belt One Road Venture Capital. Having accumulated international experience in his entrepreneurial journey, Andrew gives back by mentoring startups, provides career guidance for youths, and speaks at conferences in the region. At Wantedly, Andrew champions its mission, to Create a World where Work Drives Passion, together with his team in Singapore so that companies and talents can match based on shared purpose and values. In his youth, Andrew had represented his country and schools for Tenpin Bowling. Andrew is also the Immediate Past President of the University At Buffalo (UB) Alumni Singapore Chapter and now sits on the Board of Directors for UB Alumni Association which has over 200,000 members globally. As part of his charitable contributions, he co-founded Asia Startup Network during the pandemic which is a community for startups and entrepreneurs to network with one another and give back to charitable causes at the same time. Andrew was honoured in 2021 as one of EDGE’s 35 Under 35 as a social driver in recognition for tackling social issues and generating impact beyond themselves, and as one of Darwinbox’s inaugural 40 Under 40 HR Leaders of Asia 2022. As a lifelong die-hard Liverpool FC (LFC) fan, Andrew harbours a secret ambition to be the Manager of LFC one day, on top of his aspiration to be a Social VC / Impact Investor to further his passion of helping people by building ecosystems.
