The founder of Corgi Labs, Saif Farooqui, was previously Lead Data Scientist for Stripe in APAC where he first discovered shortcomings of current payment fraud solutions, especially in adapting to new geographies and scaling to the mid-market from enterprise. Combining his background in machine learning for small sample sizes developed at Facebook and Google, with payments domain expertise from Stripe, Saif started Corgi Labs in late 2022, and under his leadership the company has experienced phenomenal growth, including being accepted into the prestigious Y Combinator program and forging a partnership with the largest payment provider in the US.
